The Celtic Dress is a slip-on surcoat-dress without sleeves and large window armholes. It is designed to be pulled on top of an inner coat such as a Peasant- or Basic Dress to adorn the costume and add a Celtic look to it. The dress reaches from the shoulders to the ankles and has a wide skirt with a broad, lighter-hued hem, room to move and space to add personal touches. The dress is sleeveless with large window armholes stretching from the shoulders to the hips leaving visible the costume underneath. The neck is round and decorated with a broad trim with a golden, red and purple stylized flower-patterns . The trim is continued from the center of the throat down along the centre of the dress to the hem at the bottom of the skirt. The Celtic Dress is made from comfortable brown and beige twill giving the cloth distinct v-shaped textures. The Celtic dress is designed with plenty of room and loose fabric allowing room to redesign and improve if you want to let out your inner artist. Though Celtic in pattern, the cut is universal and will fit into most medieval settings allowing the wearer to bring this as a costume anywhere she might wish to Boadicea off to.
